British singer, Lily Allen is the new face of the Chanel Coco Cocoon's bag line. The bags will debut in October of this year and the ad campaign, which was shot by Karl himself, has every touch of Chanel in it. The bags are sure to be a hit this season - it's Chanel - who doesn't want that ?!

Kanye West dubbed her "our generation's Madonna" because of the incredible way she reinvents her style daily! Her usual outfits are more than the average person can pull off walking down a city street, but everything we would kill to wear, or just to have in our closets. Whether her clothing is barely there, to the Kermit the Frog jacket she once interviewed in, Lady Gaga's provocative sense of style definitely makes a trendsetter in her own right. You may not always understand the clothing, but the outfit always works.

It's onnn.... Loso is HERE !!! He's definitely holding Brooklyn down with the new album and buying the Deluxe edition is worth it. The twitter buzz on everybody buying an album is a frenzy and I haven't experienced anything like that since Jay-Z's The Blueprint 2: The Gift and The Curse was released when I was in high school. A great look --- thank you Fab for continuing to make great music and swaggin it out in the videos.

Homegirl Rih's at it again !!! With everyone shaving their heads lately, Rihanna has come through to take the crown once again. Although I feel like the haircut itself is a fad, Rihanna continuously proves herself to be a Style Icon and Trendsetter time after time. She has now taken the bad girl image to new heights - and given it a new haircut.

The Next Generation's MJ !

In my life, I can not remember a time where anyone brought me to tears while singing but Britain's Got Talent - got talent ! Shaheen Jafargholi is absolutely sensational !! I was, and still am blown away by the voice of this young man. Simon was even blown away and he is not easy to impress. Everyone really be on the look out for this schoolboy - "Who's Loving You" by Michael Jackson is NOT an easy song ! The pipes on this 12-year old and the way he did Michael's song justice was worth replaying. And my reaction was the same the second time I watched it. Wow, I really hope you enjoy this and show someone ! This kid's future is bright !

Masterpiece Theatre

I would be lying if I said I was impressed or the slightest bit intrigued by Drake's first video, but it's quite the opposite. There was some humor in the video - especially being a basketball player myself, but my favorite part had to be seeing Fabolous and Trey Songz in the bleachers supporting the team! Young Money was in the gym too, which was great but Weezy was missing. He should have played the principal or something. I still absolutely loveeeeee Aubrey though and just hope next time he comes harder. Holla at me if you need a main squeeze for the next joint. Just kidding- unless you're Jay-Z or Kanye West, I will never be a video chick. But, it's here for your viewing pleasure. Guys, this video is obviously aimed at you all. Enjoy !

R.I.P. ViBE Magazine

My name's in the masshead of these issues !

ViBE Magazine has had its hand in the entertainment industry for the past 16 years, but this Tuesday unfortunately that Wall St. office said goodbye to a magazine that was for many years, the fore-front of hip hop. Vibe opened many doors for many people and through the 90s and the new millennium introduced the world to numerous musical acts and talented artists. Behind the scenes, Vibe had many talented people working to make the magazine what it was. I was lucky enough to be one of its last interns this spring and made sooo many new friends and met soo many people that I learned from and value their relationships. I was given a chance not many people can say they had and unfortunately, many will never have again. Although we must say farewell, I am celebrating Vibe and its many acheivements through the years.

BET Awards 2009

This picture is priceless !
Soooo, as well all still mourn the death of Michael Jackson - the legend, the icon, the best entertainer EVER - BET dedicated their whole awards show to him. Unfortunately, I was not impressed by the majority of the show, surprise surprise ... ahem. But Jamie Foxx killed his opening performance and of course, Jay-Z put on a show.
