R.I.P. ViBE Magazine
My name's in the masshead of these issues !
ViBE Magazine has had its hand in the entertainment industry for the past 16 years, but this Tuesday unfortunately that Wall St. office said goodbye to a magazine that was for many years, the fore-front of hip hop. Vibe opened many doors for many people and through the 90s and the new millennium introduced the world to numerous musical acts and talented artists. Behind the scenes, Vibe had many talented people working to make the magazine what it was. I was lucky enough to be one of its last interns this spring and made sooo many new friends and met soo many people that I learned from and value their relationships. I was given a chance not many people can say they had and unfortunately, many will never have again. Although we must say farewell, I am celebrating Vibe and its many acheivements through the years.
Ran's favvv Vibe Covers, truly classics:
Special thanks to Danyel Smith, Editor-in-Chief. VFashion/Style Council Memsor, Celia & Janelle and the BEST interns Vibe has ever had. Sammy P, Kerron, Julian, Crystal, Dionte, Ian, BDiddy, Landon, Britney Mocha, Phalary, Jasmine, Alicia, Alana, Steven, Shanaz, Suzzette, Christian, Jackie, Rashania, Sarah... much love, thank you for it all <333
Peace.
